“ Knockouts is a cool divey bar aka hole in the wall but fun nonetheless! I probably would not come here if I was visiting from out of town but it is a very local hood spot with hood going ons inside. If you know ,you know lol. But i am not mad as I enjoyed myself while here. We had first gone to a different bar down the street but they tried to charge us $70 for a long island and 2 shots of Titos so we left and came to Knockouts. For the exact same order, Knockouts charged us $35. Anyway the dj was good, played a lot of classic Future, Gucci Man songs etc. Pool tables and dancefloor is there too. You can also rent out a small section for events/parties. ”
“ Keep me in the loop on special events and activities. Just a great place to relax and have a ball. Especially Thursday nights. ”
“ I am nearby in a hotel for the night. Stopped by for a beer and maybe some food. Got there late afternoon, but they were preparing for music a little later. DJX with possible record label for patrons that have the talent! Tony the Bar Manager was very friendly and invited me back later for the entertainment. I may just do ”
“ OMG..... Amazing food, strong drinks, and GREAT customer service!!! Came here for their happy hour ($6 drinks and $8 wings and fries) Walked in to this spot and was greeted by the bartender named Star. She came and took our drink/food order and told us about the happy hour specials. She was friendly and pleasant and very informative. I ordered the wings and a drink. The wings were crispy and moist. My drink was strong but delicious. The atmosphere was very chill, they have pool tables if you want to partake. I would come back here again. ”
“ I've been all over the world. The welcome I received in this establishment was extraordinary. This is a space in an urban environment with a black clientele and I am an old white guy. Tony and team were colorblind, with great conversation, delicious food, reasonable prices, and very friendly patrons. I heartily recommend this joint. ”
“ Get ready for my most favorite review ever! Ok so we are traveling for work and staying down the street at the Holiday Inn. We ordered the most delicious meal next door at Cajun Bones, but since they only do takeout...we had to find a place to enjoy it...so that's how we found Knockouts! The place is the most hood and scariest appearing bar I have ever approached in my life. The security guard was minding his own business at the end of the bar with his firearm holstered and smoking a sweet smelling cigar. Despite the intimidating look, he was a super cool and chill gentleman. The bartender is named Kitty, and she was super nice. She let us eat our food inside and gave us good, attentive service around lunch time. The highlight of the day was my friend next to me scared that we could get shot or robbed by any of their patrons at any moment. THEN, a 12 year old child going door to door selling candy bars comes inside the bar and hustles my buddy for a $1 in exchange for a few tootsie rolls The establishment is old, outdated, and looks very frightening. I wouldn't say it was dirty though necessarily. Nevertheless, I had a wonderful, fun experience being one of two white males in the middle of the hood at a local dive bar and I didn't die. I will definitely return in 3 months for my next work trip . ”
